Context
To build a healthier system of care for youth in Sonoma County, the Youth in Crisis Coalition is starting where all human-centered work should begin: by using systems thinking to understand the current landscape before designing solutions.
Progress So Far
-
Stakeholder: Our first meeting focused on establishing who we are as a group and gauging interest in the different levels of engagement for this project.
-
Systems Illumination Pt 1: After a brief introduction to the iceberg analysis framework, we created one together focused on Sonoma County and the factors contributing to youth in crisis on an events, patterns, systems, and mental mode levels.
-
Systems Illuminations Pt. 2: This session was really about validating the iceberg systems map we built last session. We went through every sticky (331!) to keep the same, clarify, or change. We also looked at the near and guiding star created by the CORE team.
